Our school community is the gateway to the Avon Maitland District School Board on the east end of Perth County. Situated in the town of Shakespeare, Sprucedale Public School enjoys a strategic location close to all amenities in Kitchener and Stratford, while enjoying the bucolic landscapes of rural southwestern Ontario.

Sprucedale’s mission is to leverage student interests to engage them in student centred learning, and to model behaviour, vocabulary and expectations of diversity and inclusivity.
Sprucedale offers families a safe, close knit school community that provides a calm and nurturing environment. Our student population is just under 200 students and offers children a sense of belonging and community. Our teaching staff is committed to developing the knowledge and skills your child needs to be successful and providing a safe space where your child can feel a strong sense of belonging.
Our school now houses a child care centre operated by the YMCA . It offers child care for pre-school and school age students providing greater convenience for parents.
